Forested campground that's quiet and shady near Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, historical sites, and several vineyards. Hiking, fishing and horseback riding are also nearby. We have Wi-Fi and cable tv! Open year round. Catch & Release Fishing Pond (seasonal), pool (seasonal), Jumping Pillow (seasonal) & playground! Also near shopping, antique shops, and several restaurants. Extended stay sites available. Reservations recommended. Big Rig friendly. We are a Certified Wildlife Habitat, so keep your eyes open for birds and the like! Try our delicious Bison Meat while you're here! Great spot to use for a base camp while you are off visiting places. Visit for details.


2 miles south of Madison on southbound Rt. 29., 24 miles north of Charlottesville and about an hour south of DC.


Check-in is at 2PM and check-out is by noon. Pets are allowed, but agressive breed dogs are not. We are no longer accepting outside wood due to the transference of pests and disease. Helmets will be required for bicycles. There is a Visitor fee as well as a Second Vehicle fee.


Rates vary depending on the size and type of RV you have, or type of site or cabin you want. Call for pricing! Range is from $44.50-$51.75 for RVs and $65-97 for cabins.
