Choice Camping Court was born in 1969 by the idea of Harold and Doris Wertz as a small 10-site campground on family farmland. They ran the campground for 40 years with smiles and humor every day. The campground continues to be run by family, Troy and Charles (Chip) Wertz, who own and operate the now 245-site campground. The campground offers full hook-up, water/electric, and tent sites. The Juniata River offers many great opportunities for fishing or floating in a raft on a hot day. This campground holds value to old fashioned camping that involves sitting around the campfire with family and making s’mores.
