Whispering Surf Camping Resort is forested with white pine, oak and white birch and nestled on a peninsula between the clear blue waters of Bass Lake and the "singing sands" of Lake Michigan. Relax in a quiet area tucked away in the North woods. Drop your anchor here, we've been a family camping resort on West Michigan's Gold Coast since 1913, the oldest campground in Michigan. Located on a narrow peninsula between Bass Lake and Lake Michigan we are a beach resort. A sugar sand beach like found no where else in the world, listen to the music of the sand as you walk across it. Our modern 82 site campground is mostly full hookup with cable TV and Wi-fi but we also have an in the woods area for tents.
