Camp Lakewood caters to overnight campers by providing a quiet, relaxing atmosphere on Lake Pauline. Big rig sites (trees trimmed to accomodate), pull thru sites, 2 fully furnished self-contained cottages, cable TV, and wifi, just 2 miles from I-70/I-57.
Directions
From Interstates I57/70 take Effingham exit 160. Go left (north) on state route 32/33 approximately 7/10 mile to Ford Avenue. Turn right (east ) on Ford Avenue and go about 4/10 mile to Raney Street. Turn left (north) on Raney Street and go about 5/10 mile to Rickelman Avenue. Turn left (west) on Rickelman Avenue and go about 3/10 mile until you see our entrance sign. Alternate Exit 162. Turn right (north) on State Route 45. Approach traffic light, turn left (west) on Rickelman Ave. (also listed as 1600 Ave) and go 2 miles until you see our entrance sign.
