Two Hours from New York City - A World Away Our campground provides fun for the whole family(even the dogs!). The entire park has updated electric (20/30/50 amp), free Wi-Fi, and Cable television. We have FHU sites that can fit even the biggest of rigs or you could try tenting in our new group tent area! Rent a Deluxe Cabin (with a bathroom inside) or one of our one room camping cabins that are located conveniently near our beautiful and squeaky clean bathhouse. Nestled in the Berkshires we offer views of the Historic Hudson Valley. Want to unpack and never leave the campground? We offer a ton of activities and themed weekends to really get you involved! Stay for a day or the whole season.
Directions: From the New York State Thruway I-87: Exit 21 to RT-23/Catskill. Turn Left onto CR 23E, merge Left towards Hudson. Cross over Rip Van Winkle Bridge (toll) stay on 23E to NY82 (11.7 mi). Turn Left onto CR-7 (4.5 mi). KOA on Right. Total Distance 25.79 miles From the New York State Thruway I-90: Exit B3 NY-22 toward Austerlitz (9.1 mi). Turn slight Right to stay on NY-22 (12.87 mi). Turn Right onto CR-7A (2.47 mi). CR-7A becomes CR-7 (.007 mi). KOA on Left. Total Distance 24.51 miles The Taconic State parkway is for cars only!
Park Rules: Copake KOA Camping Policies Check in 2 PM until 8 PM – Check Out 12 PM. Please re-register before 11 am if staying an extra day. Early check in or late checkout will be an additional fee if site is available. Guests: Campers may have guests. However they must register at the office and pay any applicable guest fee. Day Visitors: Adults $7 Children $5. Overnight Visitors: Adults $10 Children $5. Guests who visit for less than a half hour will have their guest fee refunded. Guests are not permitted to bring pets. Campsites may have a maximum of six people staying overnight. Car Pass: All vehicles must display a car pass. Two vehicles are permitted per site. Additional vehicles must be parked in overflow parking area in the front parking lot. Speed: Speed Limit is 5 Miles per hour. It is posted in the park, please watch for children. Pets: Pets are welcome! Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. You are responsible for the cleanup of your pet’s waste. No more than two pets per site. Pets must sleep in your camping unit at night. Do not leave your pet unattended at any time. No pets in buildings or pool area or playground. Pets are not permitted in rental units. Owners must bring proof of rabies shots for dogs. Barking dogs are not welcome. Aggressive Breeds are not welcome ¬– Please ask if unsure. Quiet Hours: Quiet Hours are from 10 PM until 8 AM. Camping courtesy is in effect 24 hours, no playing loud music anytime. All radios and outdoor TVs must be off at 10 PM. Children: Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children. Children under 14 must wear a bicycle helmet while riding their bikes. This is a NYS Law, no exception. Bicycles must be at campsite by dusk – no night riding. Please accompany children under age 10 to the bathroom. Store Hours: 8AM – 8PM Daily, After Labor Day Mon-Thurs Hours: 8AM-5PM, Fri-Sun Hours: 8AM-8PM. Laundry: Open 24 Hours Propane: Filled during store hours. Golf Carts: Only seasonal campers are permitted to have golf carts. Golf carts may only be driven by licensed drivers. Motorcycles: Motorcyclists are welcome in the park. Please do not ride your motorcycles in the park except for entering or leaving. Campsite: Please do not move fire rings. Fires are permitted in the rings only. Clotheslines are not permitted on campsites. We do not allow the washing of vehicles or campers. One Camping Unit and One Family per site. Maximum six people per site. Tent sites no more than four adults per site. Two small tents permitted on a tent site. No outside firewood is permitted due to NY DEC restrictions in place to prevent the spread of the longhorn beetle and various tree diseases. Do not cut or deface any trees on the property. Firewood is for sale at the store. Garbage: Trash is not picked up at sites. Garbage dumpsters are located by the cabins and by the front of the park near the exit road. Recycling is at exit gate dumpsters only. Improper Behavior: We reserve the right to evict anyone violating the rules of good camping, destroying property or creating a disturbance without a refund. Please do not cut through other occupied campsites, stay on the road. For the protection of campers and guests, anyone who willfully or negligently destroys or defaces property or another camper or park property, will be held liable for the full value of replacement cost and will be subject to eviction. No Firearms, B.B. Guns, Bow and Arrows, Air Guns, Fireworks or anything else that is not keeping with a family environment are permitted. No foul language, drunkenness or improper behavior will be tolerated. If you are bothered by noise from a fellow camper in the evening please feel free to call the park emergency number 518-329-2004. Sewage: A sewer donut is required around your sewer hose at the point of connection to the sewer pipe. Your sewer hose must sloped from your trailer’s sewer connection to the park sewer hookup in order to prevent any clogging or spillage on the ground. Messages: If you expect messages, please check the message board in the office to see if it has been received. Only emergency messages will be delivered to campsites. Loaner Sports Equipment: Loaner Sports Equipment for Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, etc. is available with a $20 security deposit in the store. Miniature Golf Clubs and Bikes are rented in the office. Mini Golf $3 per person per game. Bike rentals $6 per half hour, $10 per hour. Both require security deposit. Camping is an outdoor experience. No refunds given due to the discomfort of nature. No refunds for early departure. Only reserve the nights you wish to stay. Handicap Bathroom Access: Handicapped guests – please ask for your own key for the handicap bathroom.

    Copake KOA Camping Policies Check in 2 PM until 8 PM – Check Out 12 PM. Please re-register before 11 am if staying an extra day. Early check in or late checkout will be an additional fee if site is available. Guests: Campers may have guests. However they must register at the office and pay any applicable guest fee. Day Visitors: Adults $7 Children $5. Overnight Visitors: Adults $10 Children $5. Guests who visit for less than a half hour will have their guest fee refunded. Guests are not permitted to bring pets. Campsites may have a maximum of six people staying overnight. Car Pass: All vehicles must display a car pass. Two vehicles are permitted per site. Additional vehicles must be parked in overflow parking area in the front parking lot. Speed: Speed Limit is 5 Miles per hour. It is posted in the park, please watch for children. Pets: Pets are welcome! Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. You are responsible for the cleanup of your pet’s waste. No more than two pets per site. Pets must sleep in your camping unit at night. Do not leave your pet unattended at any time. No pets in buildings or pool area or playground. Pets are not permitted in rental units. Owners must bring proof of rabies shots for dogs. Barking dogs are not welcome. Aggressive Breeds are not welcome ¬– Please ask if unsure. Quiet Hours: Quiet Hours are from 10 PM until 8 AM. Camping courtesy is in effect 24 hours, no playing loud music anytime. All radios and outdoor TVs must be off at 10 PM. Children: Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children. Children under 14 must wear a bicycle helmet while riding their bikes. This is a NYS Law, no exception. Bicycles must be at campsite by dusk – no night riding. Please accompany children under age 10 to the bathroom. Store Hours: 8AM – 8PM Daily, After Labor Day Mon-Thurs Hours: 8AM-5PM, Fri-Sun Hours: 8AM-8PM. Laundry: Open 24 Hours Propane: Filled during store hours. Golf Carts: Only seasonal campers are permitted to have golf carts. Golf carts may only be driven by licensed drivers. Motorcycles: Motorcyclists are welcome in the park. Please do not ride your motorcycles in the park except for entering or leaving. Campsite: Please do not move fire rings. Fires are permitted in the rings only. Clotheslines are not permitted on campsites. We do not allow the washing of vehicles or campers. One Camping Unit and One Family per site. Maximum six people per site. Tent sites no more than four adults per site. Two small tents permitted on a tent site. No outside firewood is permitted due to NY DEC restrictions in place to prevent the spread of the longhorn beetle and various tree diseases. Do not cut or deface any trees on the property. Firewood is for sale at the store. Garbage: Trash is not picked up at sites. Garbage dumpsters are located by the cabins and by the front of the park near the exit road. Recycling is at exit gate dumpsters only. Improper Behavior: We reserve the right to evict anyone violating the rules of good camping, destroying property or creating a disturbance without a refund. Please do not cut through other occupied campsites, stay on the road. For the protection of campers and guests, anyone who willfully or negligently destroys or defaces property or another camper or park property, will be held liable for the full value of replacement cost and will be subject to eviction. No Firearms, B.B. Guns, Bow and Arrows, Air Guns, Fireworks or anything else that is not keeping with a family environment are permitted. No foul language, drunkenness or improper behavior will be tolerated. If you are bothered by noise from a fellow camper in the evening please feel free to call the park emergency number 518-329-2004. Sewage: A sewer donut is required around your sewer hose at the point of connection to the sewer pipe. Your sewer hose must sloped from your trailer’s sewer connection to the park sewer hookup in order to prevent any clogging or spillage on the ground. Messages: If you expect messages, please check the message board in the office to see if it has been received. Only emergency messages will be delivered to campsites. Loaner Sports Equipment: Loaner Sports Equipment for Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, etc. is available with a $20 security deposit in the store. Miniature Golf Clubs and Bikes are rented in the office. Mini Golf $3 per person per game. Bike rentals $6 per half hour, $10 per hour. Both require security deposit. Camping is an outdoor experience. No refunds given due to the discomfort of nature. No refunds for early departure. Only reserve the nights you wish to stay. Handicap Bathroom Access: Handicapped guests – please ask for your own key for the handicap bathroom.

The entire park has updated electric (20/30/50 amp), free Wi-Fi, and Cable television. We have FHU sites that can fit even the biggest of rigs or you could try tenting in our new group tent area! Rent a Deluxe Cabin (with a bathroom inside) or one of our one room camping cabins that are located conveniently near our beautiful and squeaky clean bathhouse. Nestled in the Berkshires we offer views of the Historic Hudson Valley. Want to unpack and never leave the campground? We offer a ton of activities and themed weekends to really get you involved! Turn Right onto CR-7A (2.47 mi). CR-7A becomes CR-7 (.007 mi). KOA on Left. Total Distance 24.51 miles The Taconic State parkway is for cars only!
    Rules: 
    Copake KOA Camping Policies Check in 2 PM until 8 PM – Check Out 12 PM. Please re-register before 11 am if staying an extra day. Early check in or late checkout will be an additional fee if site is available. Guests: Campers may have guests. However they must register at the office and pay any applicable guest fee. Day Visitors: Adults $7 Children $5. Overnight Visitors: Adults $10 Children $5. Guests who visit for less than a half hour will have their guest fee refunded. Guests are not permitted to bring pets. Campsites may have a maximum of six people staying overnight. Car Pass: All vehicles must display a car pass. Two vehicles are permitted per site. Additional vehicles must be parked in overflow parking area in the front parking lot. Speed: Speed Limit is 5 Miles per hour. It is posted in the park, please watch for children. Pets: Pets are welcome! Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. You are responsible for the cleanup of your pet’s waste. No more than two pets per site. Pets must sleep in your camping unit at night. Do not leave your pet unattended at any time. No pets in buildings or pool area or playground. Pets are not permitted in rental units. Owners must bring proof of rabies shots for dogs. Barking dogs are not welcome. Aggressive Breeds are not welcome ¬– Please ask if unsure. Quiet Hours: Quiet Hours are from 10 PM until 8 AM. Camping courtesy is in effect 24 hours, no playing loud music anytime. All radios and outdoor TVs must be off at 10 PM. Children: Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children. Children under 14 must wear a bicycle helmet while riding their bikes. This is a NYS Law, no exception. Bicycles must be at campsite by dusk – no night riding. Please accompany children under age 10 to the bathroom. Store Hours: 8AM – 8PM Daily, After Labor Day Mon-Thurs Hours: 8AM-5PM, Fri-Sun Hours: 8AM-8PM. Laundry: Open 24 Hours Propane: Filled during store hours. Golf Carts: Only seasonal campers are permitted to have golf carts. Golf carts may only be driven by licensed drivers. Motorcycles: Motorcyclists are welcome in the park. Please do not ride your motorcycles in the park except for entering or leaving. Campsite: Please do not move fire rings. Fires are permitted in the rings only. Clotheslines are not permitted on campsites. We do not allow the washing of vehicles or campers. One Camping Unit and One Family per site. Maximum six people per site. Tent sites no more than four adults per site. Two small tents permitted on a tent site. No outside firewood is permitted due to NY DEC restrictions in place to prevent the spread of the longhorn beetle and various tree diseases. Do not cut or deface any trees on the property. Firewood is for sale at the store. Garbage: Trash is not picked up at sites. Garbage dumpsters are located by the cabins and by the front of the park near the exit road. Recycling is at exit gate dumpsters only. Improper Behavior: We reserve the right to evict anyone violating the rules of good camping, destroying property or creating a disturbance without a refund. Please do not cut through other occupied campsites, stay on the road. For the protection of campers and guests, anyone who willfully or negligently destroys or defaces property or another camper or park property, will be held liable for the full value of replacement cost and will be subject to eviction. No Firearms, B.B. Guns, Bow and Arrows, Air Guns, Fireworks or anything else that is not keeping with a family environment are permitted. No foul language, drunkenness or improper behavior will be tolerated. If you are bothered by noise from a fellow camper in the evening please feel free to call the park emergency number 518-329-2004. Sewage: A sewer donut is required around your sewer hose at the point of connection to the sewer pipe. Your sewer hose must sloped from your trailer’s sewer connection to the park sewer hookup in order to prevent any clogging or spillage on the ground. Messages: If you expect messages, please check the message board in the office to see if it has been received. Only emergency messages will be delivered to campsites. Loaner Sports Equipment: Loaner Sports Equipment for Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, etc. is available with a $20 security deposit in the store. Miniature Golf Clubs and Bikes are rented in the office. Mini Golf $3 per person per game. Bike rentals $6 per half hour, $10 per hour. Both require security deposit. Camping is an outdoor experience. No refunds given due to the discomfort of nature. No refunds for early departure. Only reserve the nights you wish to stay. Handicap Bathroom Access: Handicapped guests – please ask for your own key for the handicap bathroom.
