    Ozark Trails
Trails have laced the earth’s surface for countless centuries. Early human beings followed game trails, and eventually wore trails of their own as they migrated and searched for food and water. Later, trails were developed between villages to allow for increased trade and cultural interchange. Trails also, of course, led to areas of special beauty and areas having spiritual significance.

    Roger Pryor Pioneer Backcountry
Experience the wildness and solitude of the Missouri park system’s largest undeveloped area in the Roger Pryor Pioneer Backcountry. Located in a remote area of the Ozarks, the backcountry is a 61,000-acre tract unit that is a portion of the Pioneer Forest, the state’s largest privately owned forest.

    Powell Gardens
Set on 915 acres of lush, rolling hills and meadows, Powell Gardens offers breathtaking display gardens, interesting architecture, a nature trail, plus a year-round calendar of special events and classes for the entire family. It allows each visitor to encounter the personal, heroic and tragic stories of Titanic’s passengers. Longboat Outfitters
Our boats are replicas (using modern materials) of the old three-plank john boats used in the early 1900s. Our trips bring back the old-time feeling of a leisurely paced, fully catered float trip. We include everything from riverbank meals featuring Dutch oven cookery to campfire entertainment and a complementary ecological education on Ozark streams. The boat offers great comfort and space for the fisherman and campers. We offer guided fishing trips on all area streams, but we specialize on the White River, Eleven Point, Bryant Creek, and Gasconade River. This is a first class floating experience that is suitable for all who want to experience the wild parts of the Ozarks.
