Park Information

Nestled in a beautiful cool mountain climate, the campground offers visitors a variety of outdoor activities including getting up close and personal with nature and enjoying its majestic beauty. Also, the proximity to Penn State University offers visiting Penn State families, as well as alumni, a place to relax while enjoying the many activities that a college community has to offer.

Directions

From I-80: Take Exit 161 onto Route 26 South for 4 miles to Exit 81. Take Exit 81 to stay on Route 26 for 1 mile to stop sign. Turn right and go 1.5 miles to second red light in Pleasant Gap. Turn left onto Route 144 South and go 9 miles to the intersection with Route 322. Turn left onto Route 322 East and go 2 miles. Entrance to campground is to right off Route 322. From Harrisburg: Take Route 322 West for approxiamately 70 miles. Entrance to campground is on the left 1 mile after passing rest area on top of mountain accross from the entrance to Poe Valley State Park. From State College: Follow Route 322 East approximately 15 miles. Entrance to campground is on the right 2 miles after starting up the mountain.
