Meramec Caverns Lajolla Natural Compound is located just off of Interstate 44, which is Historic Route 66. The camping area is located along the scenic Meramec River and has numerous ahde trees. A camp store, restroon buildings, shower houses, and playgrounds are located within the park. Canoe and raft trips are also available. Overlooking the campground is a 32 unitl motel for those who may want to travel with you, but don't like camping. The park is within walking distance of the Cave tours, family style restaurant, gift shop, candy store, panning for gold, and riverboat ride. |
